Inspiration for my designs

Bristol & The Cotswolds

Situated close to the Frome Valley and on the edge of the Cotswolds, I find it easy to stumble upon never-ending sources of inspiration for my work, whether it be from the gorgeous countryside and stunning villages nearby, or closer to home from my own garden where I am making every effort to provide homes for nature, although my gardening skills need some further work!

The world of nature features prominently in my designs, providing the perfect inspiration for natural colour-schemes which lend themselves beautifully to the show-casing of calligraphy in all its diverse forms.  

Watercolour is the best ever medium in my opinion for capturing the beauty of plants and animals lending itself perfectly to their intricate patterns and structures.
